R.I.P to a fallen Qryptonik sister
The Qryptonik Records family is very sad to announce the passing of one of its former executive, Sidney .N. Kapalanga. Sidney was an integral part of the Qryptonik family and she was responsible for the organization of a majority of Qryptonik concerts and affairs in and around the Montreal,Quebec area. Sidney will be dearly missed by us all at Qryptonik Records. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
SQB on Kalleone Radio tonite
Catch Qryptonik artists SQB on Kalleone Radio tonite at 8:30pm(4:30 EST). SQB will be talking about their upcoming album launch on May 18th(@ ACES in Freetown,Sierra Leone), and also previewing some of their hits contained in their album.
Premier Radio hosts the Qryptonik Africa team & artists SQB
Premier Media radio personality Laj-K interviewed newly signed Qryptonik artists SQB and the Qryptonik Africa team. The three hour show discussed SQB’s upcoming album and launching(May18th); Qryptonik Records and future plans for its Africa branch. Some of SQB’s hits were played and the audience were also given a preview into the upcoming album. Numerous calls were received from fans and well wishers throughout the country. By and large, the show was a big success and a lot of fun for the host and interviewees. Stay tuned for more on SQB.
SQB signs with Qryptonik Records
International super group SQB signs a multi year deal with Qryptonik Records. SQB (Squad Black) has done hits like More Fire, Dem Bad, We Nor Fraid Dem, Who Believe Im Bone and Not A Selfish Man(ft. Beenie Man). SQB has accomplished such accolades as “Best West African Dancehall Group”,”most outstanding Sierra Leonean dancehall song for “More Fire”, best collaboration song, “Fall in Love” (with K-Man) at the SLMTV Base awards, amongst other things
